This time, I see a legion of armour-clad knights, gripping weapons and shields tightly as if they’re the only things stopping them from meeting the reaper… come to think of it, that is all we have to cheat death, too. We would probably become frozen with dread if it weren’t for our commander shouting to us, building our spirits - calling us to become the harbingers of death when we meet our enemies on the battlefield in just a few short moments. The atmosphere is thick with fear and anticipation, emanating from my comrades and myself like bad perfume. To my right is the same an army of silver warriors, mixed with the red of our Mason heraldry. I look to my left and see glitters of silver, shimmering in the sunlight. They’re times of torment, wracked by the horrors of war. Comments As the sun shines above the countryside landscape in front of me, I can imagine the innocence and tranquillity it provides to those in more peaceful times.
